hello all! and once again thanks for the comments! maybe I can get a guest book up and running but who knows. so yea today was by far the busiest day yet, but also the best day yet. Unfortunately I woke up at 7:00 (boo) for this breakfast with the faculty which was not worth waking up at 7:00 lol oh well. We then met with the rest of the worship majors which was exciting. There are 10 freshman Worship and about ten upperclassmen. So yea.. 20 is not a lot of people which is great! (i think) We also found out that David Crowder is coming and we'll get to meet him and I think he will be teaching some classes just for the Worship majors! SWEET. (not till october though) The major is everything I had hoped and it seems perfect.

At 10 was chapel which was amazing as always. 1 was the music theory proficiency exam. Basically I thought I didn't pass but I received an email that said I passed! That means I get credit, I don't have to take the class, and I only have to pay half price for those credits. Crazyness! (in a good way though)
Moving right along, the Worship major audition was at 430. I played a couple songs on my Taylor (By His Wounds and My Saviour My God) and they went great. Dr. O'neel was there and two other ladies I haven't met before. All were very nice and we talked for a while. I guess I'm officially in the major now!
Next up, Heartsong! Intense is all I have to say. I showed up at 5:20.. for an audition at 5:30.. only to wait till 6:15 to play. Waiting was somewhat fun.. the musicians were just hanging out jamming outside and Sarah's roommate was auditioning after me. anyways. the audition for acoustic guitar and vocals couldn't have gone better! i was totally psyched  on my way out! so I was going to wait for call backs on thursday but as I was walking away they were like wait!! come back. apparently the people after me cancelled so I also played electric for them. unfortunately they had me plug into this tiny fender combo... which is ... tiny sounding compared to the towering mesa boogie tone i'm used to. it kinda through me off but they were pleased so i guess I should be. sorry this is ridiculously long! a ton happened today thats why. but yea I find out about heartsong on thursday! please pray that they make the right decisions for me and everyone else! if i make it or not I know its for the best! in closing.. school is going great as of now. got some cool friends in my dorm.. maybe tomorrow ill have time to give you all a pictorial tour of the mansion. i must sleep!
adios
Zac

Look, I think it's part of my duty to keep you from getting a big head. The reason all the auditions are going so well isn't because you're good or have spent hours and days practicing, or that you're passionate about what you're doing; it's because the music program at Cedarville sucks. I mean, it sucks bones..... Nobody has ever gone anywhere coming out of the Cedarville music program. I mean, sure, they'll tell you about a few people that left and became music ministers for some of the largest and most influential churches in the country, but they won't tell you the dirty little secret that they hide from everyone: not one of them can do a complex differential equation. Not even a homogeneous one! I just wanted you to know so you could avoid a future in that program at all costs. Also, I hear that music majors spread herpes. I'm just sayin' is all....

I just realized how likely it is that my previous post is going to be deleted.... how sad....
